It's been a while now since I read it so my memory isn't clear (and I don't know what might be or not be too much for you personally.) But from what I recall, the book went into detail about some specific sexual harassment/assault incidents, but primarily with a compassionate-but-journalistic tone. It aims to report facts rather than evoke strong emotion, in my opinion. I don't know whether that makes any difference for you, though!
